It is our policy to follow the recommendations of the American Academy of Pediatrics. We are members of the major pediatric organizations on both the state and national levels and we follow their recommendations regarding pediatric procedures, techniques and preventive care. Your Child needs a second dose of H1N1 vaccine if they are under 10 years of age. Your Child needs a second dose of seasonal flu vaccine if they are under 9 years of age and receiving a flu shot for the very first time or if they are under 9 years of age and did not receive 2 doses the first year they received the flu vaccine.
